Isabel has not been feeling well because she has gotten five new teeth all at once. She started with her two top teeth right before Thanksgiving quickly followed by three more. It has been a very challenging month, but we have had our great moments as well.

Isabel has come to love balls more and more this month. Anything a circle she calls a ball. It makes the grocery store fun because she just keeps saying ball for everything that is round. We had to move all of the bulbs on the Christmas tree up high because she would just point at them and say Ball, Ball while trying to pull them off. She is one crazy girl when it comes to balls and dogs.

Isabel can now pull herself up and walk along furniture. She also enjoys using her walking toy. We have been trying very hard this month to get her to crawl instead of scoot. She stopped crawling when she realized she could scoot faster. I would crawl everywhere with her and she started to crawl with me. Now I can get her to crawl on her own without a tantrum following.

On Christmas Day, Isabel discovered she could stand up in the middle of the floor without any help. She had her blanket wrapped around her and kept standing up and then falling down, to only repeat and stand up again. Below is a picture of her standing all by herself.
